These terms govern your use of the Prayer First mobile application ("the app") and related website waitlist or early-access flows. By installing or using Prayer First you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.
Prayer First is provided by Brian Tan, an independent developer, contactable at radiansnail@gmail.com.
Prayer First lets you choose apps to lock during an active lock rule and unlock them only after completing one of: time spent in a Bible app, a physical-Bible reading timer, or a short journal entry. Free access may use a simpler whole-day rule, while paid Power Pack access can add custom lock windows. It also includes local journal, photo text, and search features. It is a personal attention tool. It is not a medical device, a counseling service, or a replacement for spiritual direction.
Prayer First offers subscriptions and one-time purchases through the app, processed by Apple's App Store. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your App Store account. Paid app access lasts subject to App Store rules and technical availability. Offer terms may change for future purchasers; existing paid entitlements are not changed.
Prayer First offers or may offer optional Power Pack cloud features, such as OCR fallback for difficult note photos, tidy-note drafting, or smart topic suggestions for saved notes. These features are not a separate subscription tier unless stated in an updated offer. Power Pack cloud features may require a RevenueCat-backed cloud identity, quota checks, and either an explicit request action or feature enablement consent. Smart topic suggestions may run automatically on saved notes while enabled for a paid account. Processing may use Qwen, OpenRouter-routed providers, or other third-party cloud processing providers through Prayer First's backend. Local alternatives remain available without Power Pack cloud features.
Power Pack cloud outputs are drafts or suggestions. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, accepting, or discarding them where the app presents a review step. Prayer First does not promise that OCR, tidy-note cleanup, smart topic suggestions, or generated drafts will be complete, accurate, or appropriate for every situation. Power Pack cloud features are not for spiritual direction, counseling, diagnosis, legal advice, financial advice, emergency use, or other high-stakes decisions.
App Store purchases are handled by Apple under its standard refund policy. For exceptional cases, you can also email us and we will do our best to help.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the lock will function on every device or OS version, and we do not guarantee that any specific app can or cannot be blocked. Local OCR, journal search, Power Pack cloud features, purchases, notifications, and remote configuration may be unavailable, delayed, or limited by platform rules, provider outages, quota limits, network conditions, or device settings.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any consequences of an app being locked, unlocked, or not behaving as expected. Our total liability for any direct claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim.
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may discontinue the app or specific features at any time. If the app is discontinued, paid subscriptions will stop renewing.
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Singapore, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence requires otherwise.
We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date above will change and the new version will be published at this URL. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
